Sunset in the South

I told you that I am a southern girl. Boy, do I enjoy those late afternoons in the summer when it's still light out. Yea, the heat & humidity will probably kill you, but the yard is just so nice. Flowers in bloom, potted plants flourishing, the sunsetting in the distance. Since I live in the country I get to see a lot of beautiful sunsets. Here's just a few pictures I took last evening while waiting for D to return home from a hard days work.... yea right. My husband, bless his soul, will tell you that I hate his work. He can make more in a few hours in the afternoon than I make busting my chops all week. So, needless to say there is a difference work ethic between us... We're constantly having to push each other to get our goals accomplished... but I have to ask.. how can you want to clean house or paint inside when you have these to look at outdoors...
